The house on the little farm Harabygget was built in the old style with timber frame sometime towards the end of the 1800s. The nearby (about 600 m) intersection between the village road and the road between Sävsjö and Stockaryd, has been an excellent venue, it sued meeting at Harabygget.

When the house came into our possession in 2007 it began a complete renovation and expansion, we built the bathroompart,with water and heat, and today the house offers modern comfort.

Particularly proud, we present the two sides glazed dining room adjacent to the patio and the three opportunities for open fires. The living room has an old stove that is approved to use and the kitchen as well as in one of the bedrooms has new wood-burning fire place.

There are 7 beds and a large livingroom. Lovely garden and proximity to nature with a lot of wild animals and even a small lake where rare species of birds can be seen.

If you want to fish, you have Ärnanässjön 2 km away, it offers predator fish in water of good quality. Here you can fish pike or perch, and if you should happen to come here during the month of August, you can if you want to, together with us, try fishing crayfish.

The house Harabygget is an excellent choice if you want to spend your holiday in southern Sweden. A good base for exploring the area, if you wish to experience nature on the spot or go to various destinations such as Astrid Lindgren's World in Vimmerby, the western city of High Chaparral or Store Mosse.

The fully equipped kitchen invites cooking. When you have bathed in the lake the dried towel on the simple washing-line will help to get the rural summer feeling.

Also in winter the site is an experience, we can not guarantee there is ice on the lake, as this depends on the weather, but often we go skating and have barbecues by the lake sometime in January. And in such cases it is also possible to try the angel fish.
