Cabin Gudrun's story begins on a stormy January evening and night 2005th.

Out of the devastation that became our reality and our mission to manage after the storm Gudrun, the idea was born to turn this into something positive: We built a house of the felled wood!

Since its birth was overturned throwing the result is all the more amazing, many testify to the peace and relaxation that the house provides.

Positioned at the edge of a beautiful meadow with towering oaks, junipers, bright birch trees and a variety of flowers gives the house a starting point for exploration of the Småland countryside. If you want to fish, you have Ärnanässjön 300 m from the door, it offers predator fish in water of high quality. Here you can fish pike or perch, and if you should come here during the month of August, you can if you want, together with us, try crayfish.

Cabin Gudrun is an excellent choice if you want to spend your holiday in southern Sweden. A good base for exploring the area, if you wish to experience nature on the spot or go to various destinations such as Astrid Lindgren's World in Vimmerby, the western city of High Chaparral or Store Mosse.

The fully equipped kitchen invites cooking. When you have bathed in the lake the dried towel on the simple washing-line will help to get the rural summer feeling.

Also in winter the site is an experience, we can not guarantee there is ice on the lake, as this depends on the weather, but often we go skating and have barbecues by the lake sometime in January. And in such cases it is also possible to try the angel fish.
